As the Northern California Real Estate & Construction Council began its 31st anniversary Spirit of Life Award ceremony for Veritas Investments CEO Yat-Pang Au, tenants of SF’s largest landlord, joined by clergy and medical professionals from the Do No Harm Coalition, held a ceremony inside The Fairmont Hotel to award Au the Spirit of Greed, Harassment, and Eviction Award.
“Eviction is a public health crisis!” tenants and advocates chanted after signing a hymn in honor of lost neighbors who have passed away inside Veritas buildings.
